Beginning in 1853 in Le Locle, Switzerland, Tissot was created by a father and son with the surname of Tissot. Innovation and fine craftsmanship has defined the brand’s identity ever since. Originally, Tissot began as a maker of pocket watches, being the norm in the 1850s, and were the pioneer of a dual time-zone pocket watch. Tissot is known for producing many firsts in the watch industry, including watches made from plastic, stone and wood. In 1983 Tissot became a member of the Swatch group, the producer of high quality brands such as Omega.
All Tissot Watches feature genuine swiss movements, including quartz, automatic and mechanical.
